Hoya lobbii  Hook. f

The dark green lanceolate leaves of pendant shrub with dark red flowers are H.lobbii. The picture is shown here was taken when the flower was just opened from its native in the East of Thailand. We have found it in both of East and South of Thailand where is very humid. The flower is about 2 cm in diameter, reflexed yellow to dark red corolla with dark red corona up to the level of light. The flower of H.lobbii is quite hard to see because it blooms facing downward, beneath the foliage, the same as H.polyneura and H.bella. Its leaf is very fleshy and waxy upward. It always blooms in the rainy season from June to October.
